About us
Who We Are
INFN8 VZN is a federally incorporated Canadian nonprofit built to reverse Ghana's galamsey crisis.
We restore poisoned water and contaminated soil together—because one cannot heal without the other. Our mission is to return clean water to families, productive land to farmers, and equip communities with sustainable mining practices so destruction never repeats.
We are not a charity hoping to make a difference. We are a growing deployment-ready team with over 80 years of combined experience in sustainable mining, heavy equipment operations, underwater dredging, logistics, and financial management—assembled specifically to execute this mission.

Dennis F.
Sustainable Mining Consultant
Dennis is a force of nature with over 20 years of sustainable mining expertise forged in Guyana's demanding extraction industry. A rugged, out-of-the-box thinker with a problem-solver's instinct, he thrives in conditions where others fold—adapting, improvising, and delivering results no matter what challenges arise. He is a highly skilled multi-disciplinary operator who can command heavy machinery, haul equipment across rough terrain in tractor trailers, and meticulously grade devastated land back to its original condition. His extensive knowledge of mercury-free mining methods makes him invaluable for training local operators in sustainable extraction practices that protect communities and preserve the environment for future generations. Mechanically gifted and hardened by years of remote operations, he brings calm confidence and quick thinking when plans shift and resources run thin. Excited to deploy his expertise in Ghana, Dennis is ready to restore poisoned land and pass on decades of knowledge—empowering local communities to continue responsible mining practices long after INFN8VZN's work is complete.
Micah "MacGyver" T.
Diver & Dredging Specialist
Micah lives up to his nickname. Like his television namesake, he is the ultimate adapter—an out-of-the-box thinker who can fashion solutions from whatever is at hand when conventional options fail. With over five years of professional diving and dredging experience, he brings critical underwater capabilities to INFN8VZN's remediation operations. But his value will extend far beyond the water. Mechanically minded and gifted with his hands, he is a natural handyman who can diagnose engine troubles, repair equipment on the fly, and keep operations running when breakdowns threaten progress. Whether diving into contaminated rivers to assess conditions, rebuilding a motor in the field, or rigging up an improvised fix to keep the mission moving, Micah will deliver. His resourcefulness and calm under pressure will prove indispensable when operating in remote, unpredictable environments where the nearest repair shop is miles away and the only option is to figure it out.
Nii L.
Ghana-based Operations Advisor.
Nii is a bridge between two worlds—a native Ghanaian who built his career in Canada and now stands ready to bring a decade of heavy machine operation and maintenance expertise back to his homeland. His journey has given him mastery of Canadian safety standards and construction practices, rigorous protocols he will implement directly in Ghana's field operations. A skilled technician, he can troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy equipment to keep machinery running at peak performance even in the most punishing conditions. His mechanical intuition and hands-on experience mean fewer delays and more productivity when every hour of operation counts. But Nii's value goes beyond technical skill. He understands the land, the people, and the culture in ways no manual can teach. He knows how to navigate local dynamics, communicate across barriers, and build trust with community members who have seen too many outsiders come and go. For Nii, INFN8VZN's mission is personal—a chance to pour everything he has learned abroad back into the soil that raised him. This is more than deployment. This is a son returning home to restore what has been broken.
Charles G.
Charles is a lead pastor with 17 years of ministry experience, bringing spiritual grounding and moral leadership to INFN8VZN's mission. His extensive background in faith-based community work and charitable initiatives equips him to guide the team through the demands of humanitarian service. He provides counsel, encouragement, and a foundation of purpose that anchors the organization's work in something greater than logistics and equipment.
Our Story - A message from Our Founders
INFN8 VZN began when two sisters—V'zion and Teqami Griffith—first learned about Ghana's Year of Return. What started as curiosity became research. What we found was devastating: rivers running orange with mercury, farmland too toxic to grow food, children drinking water that poisons them slowly.
We could have looked away. We didn't.
Some would call it audacious—two young women taking on a crisis that government and agencies are trying to solve. A $15-20 billion problem. Sixty percent of a nation's water destroyed, an evironmental crisis of this magnitude.
But every giant has fallen to someone willing to step forward when others wouldn't. Call it David versus Goliath. We call it the mission we were built for.
We have assembled a team leaving room for growth, with the expertise to execute: sustainable mining veterans, heavy equipment operators, dredging specialists, logistics managers, and financial professionals. Three generations. Over 80 years of combined experience.
One mission.
We may be new, but we are prepared. We may be small, but we are relentless.
Why Ghana?
Ghana is personal.
In 2019, Ghana invited the African diaspora home through the Year of Return—a call to reconnect with ancestral land. For us, that invitation became a question: what do we bring back with us?
We found our answer in this crisis. Six million+ people being poisoned. Sixty percent of water destroyed.
Ghana didn't need more observers. It needed solutions. We're here to be a part of that.
Join the Journey
Our Commitment We are not here to create temporary relief. We are here to reverse destruction. Every dollar funds remediation equipment, trains local operators, and restores water and soil to communities who've waited years for someone to act. Once operational, recovered materials fund the next site. The work sustains itself. This isn't charity. It's restoration. And we invite you to be part of it—not as observers, but as catalysts.
