Ghana’s Water Crisis: A Nation in Danger
Illegal gold mining (galamsey) has pushed Ghana into one of the most severe water emergencies in West Africa. Rivers once used for drinking, farming, and fishing are now contaminated with mercury, arsenic, and dangerous sediments—leaving 16 million+ without safe water. Families in rural communities walk long distances for water that still isn’t clean, and entire ecosystems are collapsing under toxic mining waste.
Our organization is committed to restoring these lands, providing clean water support, and partnering with local communities to rebuild safe, healthy environments. Every action we take brings Ghana one step closer to recovery.

INFN8 VZN was born from a belief in unity — a shared understanding that when compassion meets creativity, anything is possible.
Founded by two young women determined to make a difference, we connect communities across borders to bring clean water back to those who lost it, to empower students, spark opportunities, and create meaningful, lasting impact. Our mission begins in Ghana — turning kindness, innovation, and collaboration into real change, one child, one mine, one school, and one community at a time.

Our First Project
From Classrooms in Canada to Communities in Ghana.
This season, we’re partnering with schools across the GTA to collect toonies, clothing, books, and school supplies. Every donation, no matter how small, helps open doors for underprivileged youth in rural Ghana. These donations bring clean water, support learning, and remind young students that people across the world care enough to uplift them. Together, we can turn simple acts of generosity into lasting impact.
